About Alloy 625 - AMS 5666

This grade is used in many demanding applications based on its high temperature resistance, high tensile strength, high creep strength, high rupture strength and excellent weldability.

Alloy 625 has been developed and used in aircraft components that require a high degree of reliability under high pressures. It is capable of retaining an impressive amount of tensile strength even under intense levels of heat, making it the material of choice for heat treating applications as it is capable of withstanding high temperatures better than stainless steel, titanium and other metals.

Application examples include ducting and exhaust systems, gas turbine rings and other high strength applications.

SSS Super Alloys are experienced in handling specific OEM requirements, with many major specifications adhered to and certificates released in accordance with individual specifications. Please contact for more details.
