Alloy 825

Alloy 825 is a Nickel-iron-chromium alloy with additions of molybdenum, copper and titanium. The alloys chemical composition provides excellent resistance to reducing or corrosive environments.

The Nickel content provides good resistance to stress corrosion cracking, the molybdenum also aids resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion.

About Alloy 825

The nickel, combined with molybdenum and copper demonstrates outstanding resistance to reducing environments such as those containing sulfuric and phosphoric acids. The alloys Chromium content resists many oxidizing substances and acids. Alloy 825 is suitable for many offshore piping applications and components in sour gas environments.
